It’s that time again! Also, I apologize once more for the delay in updates. It was a long few weeks, but full of rest and recovery, thankfully.
The Sanguine Seraph is back with weekly updates for many weeks to come. I hope we won’t have many interruptions from here on out. But only time will tell.
This week, we see the aftermath of the appearance of a new adversary. Is he friend or foe? What does he really want? Kat needs answers and fast. Hopefully, she can get them before anymore uninvited guests show up.
Walter sighed and looked her square in the face. “Uriel told me something disturbing last night.”
She raised an eyebrow, waiting for him to explain.
“He said you had a visitor. One that was much like himself.”
Her stomach churned into knots, remembering the previous night’s events. “So, what does that mean?”
He sighed and rested a hand on her shoulder. “It means, Miss Katharine. That there is someone within our walls that cannot be trusted.”
The knots in her stomach tightened.
